Fibre cement panel - safety shower
Preparation and protection

  • Prepare base to receive partitions
  • Protect existing work from damage during installation and make good any damage.

Installation

  • Install the partitions plumb, level, on their correct alignments, and firmly fixed.

Fixing

  • Floor: Proprietary corrosive resistant expansion type anchors.
  • Masonry wall: Proprietary corrosive resistant expansion type masonry anchors.
  • Framed wall: Corrosive resistant compatible screws suitable for fixing to the frame (eg timber or metal framing)
  • Top fixing: Provide adequate support to the partitions by fixing to the ceiling or a metal channel head rail brace.

Sealing

  • Seal partitions at floor and wall junctions with a proprietary premium quality sealant.

Finish

  • Paint: Gloss paint finish
